Statistica Sinica is announcing a call for discussion on the
following
paper:
"INTRINSIC SHAPE ANALYSIS: GEODESIC PCA FOR RIEMANNIAN
MANIFOLDS MODULO ISOMETRIC LIE GROUP ACTIONS" by
Stephan Huckemann, Thomas Hotz and Axel Munk
Anyone who is interested in contributing a discussion can access the
paper from: http://www.stat.sinica.edu.tw/statistica/ (Please click
on
"Upcoming Discussion Paper"). Submissions must also be made
on-line through the same site. Please indicate in your cover letter
that
your submission is related to the discussion paper SS-07-173. An
acceptable discussion must be within 1000 words (excluding
references). The DEADLINE for submissions is Dec 31, 2008. There is
no maximum quota on the number of discussions finally accepted, but
priority will be given to those with unique perspectives, and/or
mature
insights. Accepted discussions are treated as regular publications in
Statistica Sinica, and therefore are subject to all the copy-right
and
style requirements. All accepted discussions will be published with
the original article and a rejoinder. Please email me if you have
problems of downloading the paper or submitting your discussion.
