Hi folks.
I am trying to make fire hydrant map of my community (Lynn, MA) I would
like to make 4 maps that cover the whole city. I would like to set it
up such that data is not duplicated on more than one map.
Sort of like breaking the city down into a grid and printing a map of
each rectangle of the grid.
I have searched the help menus to no avail.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance,
Andy

I'm not quite sure, what you're trying to do. But it might help to
adjust the extent of the data frame in ArcMap. Like this you can
display/plot/print rectangular subsets of your map.

My data view shows the entire city, my layout view is at a larger scale
so my hydrants are more discernable. I want to have 6 layouts that
cover the whole city, and I want the left edge of the first layout to
be the right edge of the second layout.
Does this make sense?
Thanks in advance,
Andy
