ArcGIS Openings - Florida

Perform activities associated with the creation of geospatial images
and vector products. Plan, design, develop, document and analyze
spatial and relational databases. Apply software to manage spatial
and
related tabular data.Build databases by capturing map information
from
high resolution imagery. Produce computer map products depicting
contents of databases. Locate sources of GIS data. Understand and
utilize established GIS production processes. Manage work packages
and
provide interface to project management

Qualifications:

Recent, direct experience with geospatial processing
software.Computer
competency in Windows environment. Familiarity with Linux or UNIX
operating systems also helpful. Experience with editing vector
geospatial data (Census TIGER data is a plus). Training or skills in
the analysis of digital satellite or aerial imagery. Excellent
written
and verbal communication skills. U.S. Citizenship is required to
obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
