I haven't found an excellent Zip code boundary map online, but I've
found these two interesting tools.
Is there a really good Zip code boundary map online somewhere?

************ Tool #1 ************
***********************************
***********************************
Go to http://www.mla.org
Click on MLA LANGUAGE MAP.
Click VIEW THE MAP.
When the map comes up, choose BY ZIP CODE, which will cause the map to
update.
Zoom in four times to drill down to the area of the country that you're
interested in.
In the Layers section, check the ZIP CODE LABELS box, and click UPDATE
MAP (right below that box). (If you turn on the Zip code labels before
zooming in, the forest of Zip codes obscures the map.)
Zoom in further as necessary.
The map is color coded according to the quantity of speakers of English
in each Zip code. To make nearly every Zip code turn gray, use the
menu at the top to choose an obscure language such as Miao or
Hungarian.

************ Tool #2 ************
***********************************
***********************************
Go to: http://acg.media.mit.edu/people/fry/zipdecode
Click the map once.
Type a Zip code. It's a bit confusing: there's no cursor and you're
not entering the digits into a box. As you type, each digit simply
appears in the lower left-hand corner and the qualifying dots on the
map are displayed in white. After you type the fifth digit, there is
one white dot left and its city name appears next to it. To locate
another Zip code, you must first backspace to erase your previous
entry.
