A simple openSource java WMS server: simpleMapServer

Hello all

I have done some time ago a simple java web map server. This is my
first post; I expect to get more users and so possibly some
comments/improvement ideas/etc....

Features are:
- initially done for publishing raster images in RGB format and/or
with a colortable. Layers can have several levels of details.
- also support vector data in ascii file and shapeFile.
- openGis 1.0.0 and 1.1.1 compliant
- quite simple to configure and use. Can be used inside a
web-server(tomcat) but also embedded in a java application.
- relatively fast
