Just wondering what the Zumo has specific to motorcyles
compared to say mounting a Nuvi ?

I have a Zumo for my motorcycle. It is rugged and waterproof (and
expensive).
The Nuvi 550, if memory serves, is advertized as a motorcycle GPS. It
is waterproof, and it is cheap (not sure about rugged) . Two friends
have the 550. On comparing, I prefer the Zumo - it seems to have a
brighter, more detailed display.
