Version 9 of what? If you mean City Navagator, both the non-NT and NT
versions are released and are now called version 2008.

Are the City Navigator NT out for new purchases or just for updates? I
can't seem to find anything but version 8 on the maps page of Garmin.

Follow this link and have your serial # handy, it will tell you what you
need to know. This is for the CN NT2008, which is the upgrade from CN NTV8
