I'm in process of installing XP under VirtualBox on Fedora 14
Linux, after which I'll install MapSource, TopoUS2008, and others under
XP, hoping to be able to get my Etrexes and Rinos to talk to the
software. I do have a physical serial port on the machine; but I don't
see what path to set Com1 and Com2 to. Anyone know?

I have precious (very precious!) little idea where up is.
If it is really serial then /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/ttyS1.

I have Ubuntu/XP Guest/60Csx (USB).
The computer only recognizes the GPS in the USB mode, but after I
install the Garmin USB Driver, the Garmin Interface also works.
Virtual Box 4.0 is way better than the old one. I have to install the
Extension Pack & the Guest Addition.
I think now I can cut the umbilical cord with Windows.
