Just bought one on a flee market and wonder: does the 2610 has a battery on
bourd or not?
Sommeone who knows it and willing to share it.

Nope. No battery in the StreetPilot 2610.
There is an accessory cord you can use to power it in the house while
loading maps, routes, waypoints from your desktop computer.

Sorry, no battery, It is obsolete. If it works for your needs, use it.
Otherwise dispose of it. Garmin will not update the maps or repair it.
