Has anyone got an idea where to find the location for the images
strored with the mp3's loaded onto the nuvi 710. Reason I ask, some
images are incorrect and no matter how I try even if I change them at
source in Windows Media player, they will not change on the Nuvi. I
have tried deleting the folders but nothing seems to work and the next
sync brings back the old images.
The images are, or should be, jpg's. Mine are in the same folder my
mp3's are stored in. They're named the same as the folder, I listen
to audio books on my 750 and each book is stored in it's own folder
along with the play-list. The GPS doesn't care where you store the
files, it searches and indexes each type of file it is interested in.
I've never run into your problem before. Try naming the jpg the same
as the file name of your play-list.

The artwork is embedded in the mp3 file, either by or as part of the
file's IDV3 or ID3 tag. I'm not an expert on it, you can read a little
about it here:

I use WinAmp as a player and when you view the file info with that you
can see and edit the IDV3 tags. And I think you can also embed artwork
from there too.
