hmmm... maybe I should move to LA (lol) - the traffic supplied first
to my 755t and now the 3790t is rather inaccurate. Sometimes is green
while Im moving 5 mph and other times its at posted speed (for quite
some time) in a yellow or red zone. Occasionally they get it right
but its at the point where I can no longer trust it.

Shame they don't use the "houston transtar" traffic information which
is the standard that everyone relies on here. Also don't know where
the traffic info comes from that is used on my iPhone 4, but it seems
to me that it is more accurate.

On the possibly positive side, I finally got Garmin Cartography to
begin looking into the major issue I have with both my NUVIs - that it
will continue to follow an active route even if you move to a close
parallel road such as moving from an Interstate to a service road.
They had me run diagnostic logs today and email them the logs. Today
I routed down US 59 (5 or 6 lanes divided in each direction + 3 lane
service roads on both sides) and onto I-610. I got off part of the
way on an active route to stop at my printer and it continued to
indicate I was on U.S. 59 until I made a uturn to the service road on
the other side. Didn't happen on my older GPSs like the iQue and the
eTrex.

Well see if Garmin is willing to address this issue...

And for those of you who doubt my intentions, I have been lurking in
this ng for over 15 yrs posting occasionally. My GPSs go back to the
early 90s -- my first one was the GPS 45, then GPS III, then GPS III+,
etc etc.

And yes I added my middle initial to hopefully allows to concentrate
on why we are here to talk GPS and not personalities.
