All the maps I have were via the Garmin website download,
and therefore show up for each respective GPS unit.
Just out of curiosity,
how do you "add" a SD card purchased from a retailer
to your Garmin website inventory ?

You don't. If you wish then you only need to register the HARDWARE not
software.
