I want to create polygons in my Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx and upload them
into GoogleEarth. The instruction booklet does not say if or how that
can be done on that unit. Is it possible and if so how do I go about
creating them?

Is a "polygon" really different from a succession of waypoints in a route
(possibly closed by returning to the initial point)? In which case does GE
have to consider the sequence to be called a "polygon"?

that route happens to be a polygon on a map when it is closed. But a

polygon is no navigation issue.
