Which City Navigator maps should I use on the GPSMAP 60CSx? The Danish
distributor tells me that I can't use NT maps like MapSource City
Navigator Europe NT (only non NT maps), but according to garmin.com
the GPSMAP 60CSx should be able to use NT maps.

I'm thinking about buying microSD data card, City Navigator NT, Europe
(or Nordics).

Any experience with these kinds of maps in GPSMAP 60CSx?

I have CN Europe NT loaded on a 76Cx. The 76Cx can use either the NT or the
non-NT versions. Since I understand that the 60Cx has the same internals, I
don't see why NT wouldn't also work in the 60.

There's no need to guess; Garmin's own Web site shows which maps work
with which receivers.

Go to http://www.garmin.com/cartography/ and look under "MapSource
Compatibility".

To save you the trip, the 60CSx accepts the NT versions of City
Navigator products.

This isn't always true and accurate though - City Select* maps work on
a 26x0 but they don't list them.

I believe the Metroguide maps work too, just without autorouting (for
which there is a hack...)

It seems they like to advertise only the most expensive product as
being compatible for some of their products.

* yes, I know they've now merged them with the City Nav version, and
drastically reduced the price.

Maybe so, but if the map product is listed (as it is in this case),
it should work.
