interesting anomoly...
On my Nuvi 255 - it was at firmware 6.10 -
and WebUpdater indicated a recent update was avail - 6.20 -
So, we read the website notes & updated to 6.20
via USB and WebUpdater.
Then disconnected the GPS, and it restarted & re-loaded firmware.
Re-connected and checked with WebUpdater - all was ok -
Next - went to the Garmin website - myGarmin -
https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/Dashboard
and it indicated that a software update was avail...??
SO - updated again via the myGarmin Dashboard.
Unfortunately, there is no way to tell exactly what "other" files
are being "forced" updated by the Dashboard.....
Could have been anything from traffic, gps chip, voices, etc
It would be nice to know what's being done...
