Software/firmware update deletes Forerunner 310XT settings
I own a Garmin Forerunner 310XT. Every time I perform a firmware/
software update for the Forerunner 310XT the firmware update process
will delete my customizations and settings on the watch =96 e.g. I will
lose my user profile (weight, min and max heart rate, heart rate
zones, etc.). I will also loose the data field display settings for
each profile, such as running, bike1, bike2, etc. After every
firmware update I have to go back to the Settings and reset all the
settings and customizations I previously made!
THIS IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!!
Is there no way to save these customizations/settings BEFORE
performing a firmware update and restoring the settings after the
firmware update...!!!???
