And who know I may talk to someone to exchange the pleasure for an used
mono GPS. I am guessing that's about right for an ugly person, not?

Joel, it is not me that tells poorly, it is you who seem to not read
what is there ... or maybe just assume things which are untrue. I
appreciate your trying to help, but if you read the question, you
could do a MUCH better job.
The Quest I, an excellent Garmin unit, has about 120 MB of internal
memory, only ... no external. The base map is minimal.
Maps have to be loaded into it. I use about half the memory to cover
roughly a 100 mile radius from home. The less loaded, the faster it
works. I try to load under 30MB whan practical.
you either assumed otherwise or had your units confused.
as I said, I found the CNNA2008 maps which I STUPIDLY overlooked ...
Off the original subject ...
I use it for walking, geocaching, bicycling and motorcycling. It has
an excellent feature set, better in some ways than the 60C/76C (it
speaks with the correct adapter, so is nice as a car backup). It can
have routes loaded. It can have tracks extracted. It is IP67 rated.
The closest current product is the Zumo family at far more money. The
Quest never took off; it was, to me, one of teh best Garmin units.

Now that is a different story, and same with the story of my old
StreetPilot, one model has 16M, one has 64M, and the other has a larger
internal (I don't know how large) and option to use external DATA Card up to
256M.

I don't own the one you have to know what to confuse, since you didn't
tell so I assumed it's a newer model with external memory supported.

Do you still have the original CNNA2008 disc for the Quest? Do you
still have the original downloaded install file(s) for CNNANT2010.40?
If so, you could try reinstalling CNNA2008 onto your PC.
