Having just gotten a Nuvi 350. I am interested in how to update and
enhance the points of interest, add guided tours and audio books. For
example, are there sites that :

1. Have points of interest for additional subjects other than the
standard listings? How do you update just the POIs?

2. Are there tour guides for free or low cost on the web for national
parks, cities, etc that you have found intersting and useful?

3. Audio books available from low cost or free sources such as
libraries?

4. Any other enhancement feature that would be useful on a road trip
across the US?

Yes, there are many sites available to download POI files. You can
find many of them listed here:

I found a free Garmin tourguide site that I am impressed with (since I can
succcessfully build my own TG files as a result) - www.geovative.com - Hope
this is all helpful.

Audible.com is pretty reliable, but also simply downloading MP3 files and
storing them for MP3 playback is my biggest supply at the moment. Your
local National radio station is likely to have children's stories, news
articles and the like in their podcast section which you can save as MP3s)
