Update MapSource map

I've a nuvi 255 with nuMaps Lifetime.

When I bought the nuvi and did the online update, CNNANT 2010.4 was
made available to MapSource. MapSource also seems to have been
changed (I hesitate to say updated) to 6.15.9.

When I saw that a map upgrade was available (to CNNANT2011.10), I
activated the nuMaps Lifetime and freshened the nuvi map.

The map on the computer did not update. What do I need to do to have
it updated? I understand that I cannot use this Lifetime subscription
for the other NT compatible unit I have, and am not trying to steal
software. I use MapSource as one tool to manage waypoints on multiple
units and tracks/routes on the Quest.

So you are saying that even though the "free" update was to both
Mapsource and the Nuvi, nuMaps Lifetime is strictly to the unit ...
thus the "nuMaps", I guess ...

Question ... what do I need to buy or do to update the maps in
Mapsource?

Start MapSource
Click on HELP
Click on Check for updates
Follow instructions given
DONE

Hope you aren't offended when I ask whether you've changed the in use map set
in MapSource on the tool bar. I've found that I usually have to change to the
new map set in MapSource after installing a new set.
