Your clock seems to have gotten munged...

It's ~20:00 here now, and my watch and (noncomputer) clock agree[1], but
your post shows 20:48.

If you're actually writing from the future, then please ignore my comment
:-)

[1] I thought it was prudent to check those before sending this post.

And it was 20:48 when I sent that--but your system thinks I sent it at
22:48.

Right now, it's 0537am.

I should have stayed up to compare clocks :-)

Your new post shows 5:37 am here...

When I read the other post, it was just before 20:00 here, on the computer
and on two external clocks, but your post showed 20:48. From what you say,
the error is in my system's or my newsreader's display of your time.

BTW, right now, that post shows 20:48 in the header pane, but 22:48 in the
body pane, instead of the 20:48 time I saw last night. Your time zone
remains -0500.

I have no idea how to track those oddities down, so I think I'll just live
with it and stop nagging you (and any new people posting from the future).

I just looked in another reader, MesNews. Everything there shows the same
as in Dialog. Maybe it's Albasani?

As I said, I'll just live with it :-)

My older C330 does as well. Mapsource (which is used to load maps,
download waypoints and tracks from my Quest) does.

Pretty simple, so pick your choice

- Ignore it cuz it won't go away.

- If you think that it's ruled for Garmin to do *free* advertize (or
marketting) on your paid GPS. Then you can use the hacked version to stop
this madless.

- All my older Garmin GPSes had older maps, and I saw the reminder all the
time (and they don't pop up all the time). Yup! even under the older
policy I was able to register to multiple GPSes, but I never did to any of
them.
