Trip Planner in nuvi 2360

Just "upgraded": from a nuvi 855 to a nuvi 2360. I find that ROUTES
is now TRIP PLANNER, well it has some nice improvements but it doesn't
seem to work like the old ROUTES.
I set up a trip with four stops, look at the map and it shows all four
and the roads between them so I go NAVIGATE it. First it asks me for
my first stop, no problem ( if I give it the end point it ignores all
stops in between) and I go drive. It takes me to the first stop, then
the second stop then no more navigation information, the route just
ends! BTW it does the same thing in SIMULATION mode.
So please someone tell me what I am doing wrong! (I am also in the
65+ set)

2. Start navigating. The first via is set to be the next destination.
3. When you reach the first via the nüvi will announce it.
4. Touch the trip name on the nüvi screen and then touch "Go" for the
next part of the trip
5. The next leg of the trip will now be navigated.
6. Continue this for rest of the trip legs.

That is what I figured out. If you have a route where waypoints
are used for selective
routing (such as via the Blue Ridge Parkway or other senic road) such
"navigation" is totally useless.
I consider that Garmin is totally dishonest in the specs for the 2360
that state 100 ROUTES,
The unit has effectively no ROUTES!

Mike - IF I understand Doug, I agree with him. My old Garmin Quest used to
be able to establish a route with multiple waypoints. It didn't require you
to 'select' which waypoint to go to, it didn't STOP navigating when you get
there, etc. You just did the route. The method that my 2460LMT does which
is what Doug is mentioning really seems bizarre to me. Also, because it
calculates a 'stop' at each waypoint, the total route time is wacky. I
have a 10 minute route to work that takes my all of 15 minutes; with the 3
or 4 waypoints I have to force my 2460LMT to take back roads, it doubles the
'estimated' amount of time 'thinking' I am stopping at each waypoint.

Look at some of my other posts and you'll see I complained about this as
well a few months ago.
