Do you find that there are traffic broadcasts, and that they are
useful?
BC
It's useful when it provides the useful information. Not useful when no
information (not available at the time), or useless information.
IOW, it depends on what you need, how well it works at your area etc..

Does "how well it works" refer to the quality of the info or the
signal? Is there a traffic feed in major cities?
Thanks.

These words are so applicable to *all* 'Know-Nil' Joel's postings here
in this NG. @BC, you're wasting your time with this resident ignorant
troll. He has the rare distinction to be in my kill-file so that I
don't have to see his nonsensical drivels directly.
As to your original question, real-time coverage is sporadic and
unreliable in my travel areas so I do not use it. I find radio traffic
and news reports provide more accurate conditions in my personal
experience. This topic has been well discussed in this NG and many GPS
forums--just Google for your specific area for a better assessment.

---
the info is automated - from certain radio stations in major cities ....
It really depends on the local urban sensor network to create a traffic flow
image
and then broadcast those traffic numbers....
So it depends on the sensor & auto reporting network....
which may be different than other "inputs" to local radio station traffic
reporters.
