Quick question?!?

Just received my GPSMAP 60cs <Cheer!!>
Have 2GB micro sd card added.
I know I can transfer appropriate MAPS to the sd card and use them with the
unit...
BUT
Can I transfer TRACKS to the SD card (from my computer to the card
specifically) and use them in the unit? (trackback etc?).
I note the Manual for Mapsource says :- "you can transfer waypoints, routes,
and tracks from a data card to your GPS unit's internal memory...." page 13
under transferring Mapsource data.
Anyone know if this is possible with the 60CX?? <and how?>

I know about the option to copy a track TO the data card but not the other
way around.

Thanks all

The Tracks menu allows you to list the saved tracks and view then
"Tracback" them. It looks at the card; at least mine does the way it's
set up.

The saved tracks are in main memory, not on the microSD card, as far as
I can tell. There are no files seen on the microSD card when you have
saved tracks.

I don't know why your GPS is so different from mine, Jack, but I just
saved my track log on the gps (60CSx), uploaded that to Mapsource,
renamed it in Mapsource to "My Track", then re-uploaded it to the GPS
and it shows up as "My Track" in my "Tracks" menu, and it allows me to
select it, and one of the things I can do then is "Tracback".
