Too many wrong info about Nuvi series

        Few days ago I read some one here mentioned about touching the Satellite
Bar to see the Latitude which doesn't work on my Nuvi 680. I then
downloaded the Nuvi 680 DPF manual which says touching the Satellite Bar in
Upper_Left_Corner to view the Satellite Information which doesn't work on my
Nuvi 680 either. Or

1. The ||||| Satellite Bar only display at Menu Selection Mode. When I
press the ||||| it will switch to SETTING MENU

2. The |||| Satellite Bar won't be shown on "View Map" screen

        It's so sad that Garmin keeps messing up the GPS by adding/removing
different options/features of different model that we can't learn from other
Garmin owners. And either there is some bug with the newer software (I just
upgraded to a newer Nuvi 680 software few days ago) or something ain't right
with the manual??

When your on the MAP the Satellite Bars aren't on the screen. Just on the
Main screen. You should also get onto that screen, but you have to hold
down on it for a few seconds. If you just push there it won't do anything,
you have to hold it down for 3 or so seconds to get it to pop up!

Try pressing the current location icon on the map screen, it should
give you a new screen with the latitude, the longitude, and the
elevation of the current location and give you the option to save that
location to favourites.
