If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Replaced the batteries on my new Colorado 400t this morning and got a
"System Software Missing" message upon restarting. Was working fine
before, and had been updated to the latest firmware recently, but had
been through several on/off cycles before today. Any idea what might
have caused the error and how I can recover the unit? It will not
respond to any combination of key presses and results are the same
under DC power via the USB port.

Called Garmin and was instructed to return it for a replacement.
