I love my 2720, but there is one stretch of highway that makes it behave
strangely. On the highway south from Dubuque, IA towards Davenport, IA it
announces the distance to the next turn almost every mile. I've driven this
road a couple of times in the last year or two, and it does it every time.
Once we get off that highway, things return to normal. I finally shut it off
until we get close to the interchange because it drives me nutty to hear it
so often.
the actual highway does not follow the map (or vice-versa) and, with
'recalculate' turned off, the GPS will announce distance to next turn when
it "gets back on the highway".
Other than that, I really like my 2720.
