My Nuvi 350 is password protected. If stolen, it can't be used without the
unlock code. The thief will not be able to use it. I may have lost it, but
no one else will use it.

Why is this any better than using "My Garmin" at the Garmin website?

JustStolen sounds like a good idea although its use doesn't seem to
have reached BC, Canada yet as I could find no items listed at all and
found no category for GPS (electronics? misc?). Or maybe I missed
something.

But on my 750 I have loaded a the startup image to show my name, phone
number and a reward offer, so if anyone turns it on they'll know how
to contact me. And yes, I do have my serial number etc. on file at
home.
