If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
From when I installed the maps on my new Garmin Nuvi 200W I still have a
large file on my PC - "Garmin_rmu_cneunt2010"
Should I keep it - if so what do I need it for? It is over 3 Gb. If I click
it it starts to "Extract" but I haven't followed this through to a
conclusion.
mine when I had first checked that the new maps worked and appeared to be
installed correctly.

you can use it to install the maps on your PC or Mac
- and delete it afterwards
or
you can extract it using zip7 or winrar and write it on a backup DVD
- and delete the original file afterwards
