Sending my route from mapsource

I have a Garmin Zumo 550. I am taking an extended Motorcycle trip
around the eastern US this spring-summer and have a tenative route
mapped out on Mapsource. What I would like to do is send a picture of
this route to friends who are interested in the trip. I can't seem to
figure out a way to do this. I sent the route as an attachgment to
email. but even those folks with Mapquest could not open the file.
Does anyone know if there is anyway that I can copy the route and send
to some one else?

Save the route file as GPX. then use Open street map or Goggle Earth
to upload the route to either.

In Mapsource, with your route, go to 'view' then 'view in google earth'.
Once it comes up in Google earth, go to 'file', then 'email', then 'email
image'.

That will send a picture of your route.

With mapsource open and full screen press the print screen key on your
keyboard .....open MS Paint or what ever you use for photo editing
and (Control+V to Paste) the image ....save as a .jpeg...attach to your
e-mail and your done
