Does Garmin still provide sample maps on their website?
Ones that you can view to see if the detail that one is interested in, such
as "is my home address shown?".
I remember them having such a service some years back, but I cannot locate
the website now.

I don't know bu, when I used that site one year ago, the maps shown were
two years old. Useless to check actuality.

Presumably, the map shown is the map they're selling. And yes, the data
us usually already a few years old by the time they get it on the
market.

presumably but not really. To be more precise: the time I looked at it
last time, the sample maps were older than the ones I already had on my PC.
