Hi All
Does Garmin have a model that will suggest more than one route?
Google will suggest 2 or 3 alternate routes. I like this feature.
Thanks
Harold

Harold-

If you have an idea of an alternate route you prefer, you can just start
out going that way. Or you can choose an alternate as you approach the
destination. The Garmin will calculate a new route according to your
preset preferences, any time you deviate from its current route.

At first it may direct you to get back on the first route. As you
proceed on your detour, it will eventually find a new way.

It might be a good idea to use Google to decide on a general route, but
let the Garmin worry about the small details.

That's what I do. The shortest or quickest route is not always the most
interesting.

I look forward to some interesting reports. Didn't Google have Easter Eggs
(IIRC) which suggested swimming the Atlantic?

Mike.
