You may need to be a little more specific, cuz
1. Garmin and most other GPS companies including around 6 (SIX) millions
POIs which cover just about everything. And some big country like USA may
need around 600M to cover all fast foods, restaurants, rest areas, parks,
schools, churches, hospitals, gas stations and on and on and on.
2. Garmin and many others offer the option to ADD your own POIs, and you
need to be specific of what you need. Example.
- If you want McDonalds of the whole USA or just specific STATE
- You want *both* McDonald and Home Depot then pick the opion above.
- If you want more than McDonald and Home Depot then ADD MORE for your
need.
3. There are people who collecting the addresses to create the POIs for some
specific POI, if you know something they don't know then you can either
a. Add your own to the list
b. Give the creator the information so s/he can add to his/her list
That's it! you get around 6M for everything and you will need 494M more to
cover everything.
