Of course, but I make it a rule to never pretend the Subject line is a
substitute for the Body. If you have a question, put it in the Body
where it belongs.

I'll add some rationale to this.

I have heard of (but not experienced) newsreaders that don't show the
subject. Mine can be configured to do that, but of course that's another
story. Also, in my header pane, I can't see the whole subject line if
it's longish.

So leaving the query out of the body is not the best practice, even
disregarding those of us who think it's an annoying trick.
