Having given it a lot of thought and considered the answers here I have
replaced my 60csx with like for like. However I now have the problem
that Memory Map only recognises the original GPS, as a result I cannot
load tracks etc. into my new one. Can anyone please tell me how to sort
this?

I think that we may need more details to help with this. Do you have
MapSource? Does the new GPSr work with that?

It does not sound like a Memory Map licence problem. The only thing that I
can think of is: on 60CSx - Menu, menu, settings, interface, select Garmin.
In Memory Map ensure GPS is in Garmin mode.

Thank you for your answers, I have resolved it. I rolled back to the
previous device driver, that fixed it, why that should be I don't know!
