Problem with V8 update for StreetPilot 2620

I'm having a problem with updating my StreetPilot 2620. I ordered the
update DVD and finally received it. I get the update for free because
of the age of the StreetPilot. I got my new V8 unlock code from Garmin
(at least it said V8 on the DVD and the DVD case). When I went to load
it it said I was loading V7HD. HMMMM. After I put my unlock code in it
said this unlock code is not for the software I was loading. I called
Garmin and after a 50 minute wait they came on and said they would send
me a new DVD. They actually next day'd it to me and I tried again
tonight. The exact scenario happened again. The software said V7HD
and after I put in the unlock code it said this unlock code isn't for
the software I am loading. Did anybody notice what version of the
software they were actually loading (not what it says on the CD) Did
anyone have the same problem I have had twice. Garmin confirmed the
unlock code.
