I am having problems getting the Scottish contour maps to work on my
60csx. I am using Windows 7, if I attempt the method recommended using
the batch file my system becomes corrupt, it does not state that it
works with windows7. I can download the contour maps with Img2gps but
can only see then with the base maps, not with the metroguide maps,
which is what I would like. also I have found no way to load them into
Mapsource. Any guidance would be appreciated.

You could try this installer for the contour maps (about 96MB, includes
contours for all of UK and Ireland):
http://osmalba.org/garmin/contours_v2_mapsource.exe

Just download it and run it, then follow the instructions, and it will
install the contour maps in MapSource.

You can then select the maps you want, and send them to the Garmin. Note
you will have to select them as well as the Metroguide maps, then upload
them all at once, so you can use them together on the Garmin.
