I tried to load POI's onto my 1390LMT using the POI loader. It says I have
loaded them, but they don't show up. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

If it's like the 1490, and if it's like routes, you have to "import" the
data once you've loaded it to the device - and it's not in the manual,
AFAICT.
This is what I do for routes:
Choose Tools on the main screen and scroll until you see a folder icon
labeled My Data. Choose it and look for Import Routes. Go there and you
should see the routes you've downloaded. Check the ones you want and
click the Import button.
I haven't tried POIs, so I don't know what happens with them, and I
don't see POIs under My Data - so I apologize if the above is a wrong
approach.
If you're like me, you forget the above every time you load data, and
start swearing until you remember...
