I emailed this question to Garmin, but they never replied. I am
currently using a GPS 3600 PDA / GPS from Garmin. One thing I like is
the ability to categorize my waypoints. I have categories of Hotels,
restaurants, businesses, friends, etc., so when I am in Yosemite, for
example, all the Yosemite waypoints are grouped together. When looking
for the phone number / address of the Hotel I am returning to, I just
look in "hotels" and get a short list of the 20 or so hotels I have in
my GPS, as opposed to all 200 waypoints I have accumulated...
So on to the question.... Drum roll please....
Does the Nuvi allow categories of waypoints, or all they all lumped into
one big directory. If so, how do you manage your waypoints? Do you have
more than a handful?
Paul
I know some of you out here have a Nuvi!

Nav software. Missing streets, takes me out of the way. Sometimes miles
out of the way. Ver 8 is no better then ver 7. In fact the voice cant
even say the street names right.

So what unit do you like? It seems they all have something that could be
improved & the Nuvi appears to be one of the better ones.
