Nuvi 765T Question

Is there a way that all of the favorite's that I have entered in to show
names instead of icons on the screen when using hopefully something that
I have overlooked

        I don't own the 765T and haven't looked at the favorite for years to know
what my newer Nuvis have that the older StreetPilot don't. But I have used
it on the old StreetPilot (you can see I haven't used for years) they gave
the option to chose one from the list of available ICONS came with the GPS.

        IOW, you can chose one of the available ICONS or NONE for your own liking.
About NAME? I don't pay much attention to this, but sometime I saw the NAME
pop-up on my Nuvi. Or I don't think it's important for me to care.

        I just messed with my Nuvi 1490T and it has similar option that I have
seen on the old StreetPilot many years ago.

- On MapSource it's the same. You can use ICON or LETTER

- On the Nuvi 1490T unit it has similar option. I don't see option to use
BIG LETTER like from MapSource but option to use the avaliable ICONS or
PHOTO. I don't see the option to SAVE the change like StreetPilot does.

I have a 765 also. I haven't seen anything in the manual that answers
your question.

        And if your 765 comes with manual then I would say what an improvement,
when my Nuvi 1490T supposes to be newer than yours doesn't come with the
manual like the 4 older Garmin I have. It comes with few pages of something
that I didn't look at, and none of them look like a manual. Or the size is
around 3x4 or 3x5", and the thickest may have around 5-6 pages or so (just
guessing).
