Nuvi 760 broken audio jack - need repair advice

The audio/headphone jack on my Nuvi 760 seems to have come loose
internally. When I plug in an external audio cord, I get audio only
over the left channel. Jiggling the plug causes the right channel to
come and go, but mostly go. It's exactly as if I can't insert the
audio plug far enough into the jack.

Garmin wants $99. I've found a few other repair places via web search.
Is there any consensus on where to go?
