Nuvi 750 hung on "Loading Maps..."

Sometimes my Nuvi 750 gets hung during boot-up at the "Loading Maps..."
screen. I can get past this hang by restarting or doing a soft reset.
Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone know what is causing this?

        It has happened to my Nuvi 680 ONCE, and I finally got it fixed by
reinstalled the City Navigator.

        I don't know wwhat caused the problem, and not so sure in installing the
map is the answer, but it did happen to me and reinstalling CN fixed the
problem.

I recently installed CN 2010.2 and still saw the problem, but thanks
for letting me know that it worked for you.

        Mine was CN 2008 so I have no experience with the v2010.2

What version of firmware are you running?
