Costco.com has the Nuvi 660 for $499 for a limited time. Sorry if this is
old news!

I don't remember the info was posted here (I may be wrong), but I saw the
deal few days ago. But the sad thing that it requires to be Costco member
to have the full benefit of the $150 rebate from around $50-70 more than
average price.

Lets see, the lowest price I found for Nuvi 660 was $567 Free S/H, when
Costo charges 5 percent for non-member $500 + $25 + S/H = saving around
$20-25 or so. There were few lower (around $525 + S/H) but the deals were
expired.

I believe it was posted here that the price of the Garmin units will
be lower now since Garmin will no longer be offering free Mapsource
updates like they did in previous years for the units, so this may be
why Costco is lowering the price.

On another note, do any of the Costco locations have the Nuvi 660 or
is it a web only deal?

Two weeks ago, I did not see any in eastern PA -- but the web site does not
indicate web-only and their in-store stock changes quickly. Although
normal shipping only added $10 or so when I checked last nite so that might
not be a major issue considering current gas prices?

And $25 extra for non-Costo member, so the final price is around $500 +
$25 + $10 =3D $535 and hopefully no problem with the $150 rebate.

A little over a week ago (and before that) some companies offered 5% off
coupon, and the final price was around $546 for Nuvi 660 and just 1-2 =
days
ago Buy.com had 5% off coupon on the Nuvi 650 and the final price was =
around
$522 or so.
