Does anyone know if it's possible to download the factory-installed maps
on a Nuvi down to MapSource in order to do route planning and waypoint
setting?

your help/suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I I be able to do this but downloding Garmin MapSource City Navigator
Europe NT v9 on P2P network and then install it and unlock it with GPS
internal unlock codes...
But there is a problem, i think that it is not possible to do route
planning with nuvi (660) transfering maps and waipoints it is OK but
routes are not usables.... if you find a method to do this, thank you
to inform me !!

Thanks for info. On the routing issue I totally agree. It's unbelievable
that nuvi 660 doesn't support uploading of routes. That should be a
standard functionality for any GPS.
