Hello all,
I just recently purchased a Nuvi 500 and in the advertising it has comments
about the fact that it has the ability to Speak Street Names.
However, when I look at the menus and setting as well as the documentation
that I dl'd it appears that it does not have this feature.
What am I missing?? Is there some "special" something I need from Garmin to
get this feature??
Not that I really need the street name but when the advertisement says it
will do something I kinda expect it to do it.
TIA
Les
turns while navigating to a destination.

I agree 100% because that is what I thought.
However, it does not! It only gives distance to and direction of turn.
Anyone have any other thoughts??

yeah - it has to be using a TTS language...
