I wish there was a way to delete just a single entry
from the "recently found" list....

nuvi 255. Not possible. However there is a work around. Save the recently
found to favorites. Go to favorites touch the item, touch edit, touch delete,
touch 'YES'.

Yes. My error. Saving to favorites doesn't remove from recently found.

You could save all your waypoints to Mapsource/Navigator on a computer
and then reset the unit followed by downloading the save waypoints.
This will clear all the recently found.
