Nuvi 265T shuts off after bluetooth connected w/ Blackberry 8830

I just bought a new Nuvi 265T through Newegg for ~$200. Hooked it up to
the PC and downloaded and installed the latest firmware using the Web
Updater utility. Already has the 2009 NT maps ...

Playing around with it today and after I got through the basics, I set
up the Bluetooth connection with my corporate Blackberry 8830.

Because of my company's BB security policy, the Bluetooth on the 8830 is
set 'non-discoverable' and locked down. So I use the BB to find the
Nuvi and put in the 4 digit code and then have functioning Bluetooth
connection between the Nuvi and the Blackberry. So far, so good.

After I shut of the Nuvi and if I wait awhile so that the Blackberry
doesn't see the Bluetooth connection, when I turn on the Nuvi it boots,
loads the maps, goes the the lawyer screen and comes up on the main
page. Initially, it doesn't show an available Bluetooth phone icon but
after about 2 seconds, the BT icon shows up. Then about 2 seconds
later, the Nuvi shuts off. If I turn it back on, same thing.

So I do a reset and it starts normally. I go to the Blackberry and tell
the BT to connect and it does ... all is well. Until I turn off the
Nuvi and then it all starts again.

So now I'm trying to figure out how to fix this problem, is it caused by
the BT security policy on the Blackberry (locked in non-discoverable
mode) or ...?

Anyone else have experience with 2*5 Nuvi's and Blackberry Bluetooth
connections?
