Hi --
I'm considering replacing my SP2610 with a Nuvi 260W, mostly because I
like the 3D views in the Nuvi.
The 2610 was a very expensive model in its day - which was, what, all
of about 2.5 years ago? Am I going to lose anything in the
transition?
...besides the external antenna port? Will the Nuvi be able to hold
onto the birds when I plug it into the wife's 2001 Chevy minivan with
the metallic windshield tint?
Thanks for chiming in...if you choose to :)
Best regards,
Tim ==

For the record, my Nuvi 350, despite its high-sensitivity receiver, could
not pick up any satellites while inside a several year old Toyota Avalon.
Therefore it is possible there are vehicles that may give one of these
things trouble.
