After the last online firm/softare upgrade my Free Topo Map and Paid
Snomobile map will no longer display on my Rinos.
By the size fot eh Map file they are in there.
Am I missing something or has Garmin just made it impossible or next
to impossible to use non-Garmin maps?

Well - after I deleted all the files on the SDHC card then I could
copy over the map file and the Maps are now usuable.
I had less than 500 mbs on the 8 gb card so I don't see how those
files were an issue but heyt it work and it worked on both of my
Garmins so why fight city hall!!
