Actually, I have the hard drive from the old computer in a USB case
connected to the new one. Now what I need to do is "move" the
files/programs, etc. to the new machine to run there.
Sorry I didn't say that in the beginning.

I don't think it works that way. They must be installed into the
operating system not just data copied to the hard drive.

The man is asking how to transfer the MAP DATA (detailed map data) *not*
MapSource.
Again *NOT* MapSource and I hope you understand the difference between the
*free* "MapSource" and "City Navigator" (City Navigator is what the man need
to know).
