I have NT 2011.2 in my C330. On a recent trip to Florida from 'the frozen
north' down I-75, I found
that the unit worked normally until we passed out of Tennessee into Georgia. It
was then that the
'road' no longer stayed under the arrow indicating my vehicle, but wandered left
and right and
directions became unreliable. Also, for the first time that I've experienced, I
began getting
directions such as "turn north-west" instead of left or right. Not all the
time, but enough to get
on my nerves.
These weird things started once again as we started home up I-75 and I took note
that as soon as we
crossed into Tennessee once again, the GPS 'road' tracked right under the arrow.
I've never had directions given except LEFT or RIGHT etc. Not as if you were
navigating a boat or
plane. Has anyone else had this happen? Could it be that the latest map is
buggy??

My sister's C340 also experienced odd behaviors with CNNANT2011.20 on a
couple of trips last year. Not the same symptoms as you've described
but it locked up and required a hard reset. Updated to CNNANT2011.31
and problem has not reoccur since. There was never any noticeable
problem with prior versions either. The current software for the SP
C3XX series has not been updated for quite some time now so it may be
hiccuping on some new map features/conditions/errors. On my nuvis, no
such oddity observed with that map version.

From http://gpstrackinginfo.com/defense-department-testing-gps/1846
"The good news is that according to an FAA spokesman, no ground GPS
units <http://www.justgpstracking.com/> will be limited or otherwise
impacted by the military's tests. This means that whether you own a
passive tracking device like a LandAirSea passive tracker, or you
currently employ a real time GPS tracking solution
<http://www.justgpstracking.com/browse-by-type/real-time-tracking.html> ,
you should have no worries about the integrity of your GPS operations.
Hopefully at the end of all the testing the already great Global
Positioning System will get even better".
